Set in a rainforest environment, the Singapore Zoo has evolved into a world famous open, learning zoo. The interactive tools used here provide a stream of interesting animal facts. Through these you will learn about wildlife and the need for conservation. You can get an eyeful of an astonishing array of wildlife and tropical plants as you settle down for the night in your tent pitched in the middle of the open zoo with the parks exotic wildlife for company.
Day 01: Fly India - Singapore
Welcome to the Lion City
On arrival in Singapore, our local Mentor will be waiting outside the customs area to welcome you and transfer you to a local restaurant for breakfast. You will later proceed on a thrilling ride onboard the Singapore Duck. It is the first and only amphibious theme tour attraction in Asia. Take a combined city and harbor tour of Singapore, traveling on land and sea. The duck is a unique boat on monstrous wheels. Later this morning you visit the Asian Civilizations Museum, the first museum in the region to present a broad and integrated perspective of pan-Asian cultures and civilizations. The museums interactive collections center on the material cultures of China, Southeast Asia, South Asia & West Asia.
After a hot lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Aero Green Tech Farm and be amazed by the unique scientific process whereby plants are grown without the use of soil.
Later this afternoon you will check in at your hotel with the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 02: Singapore
After a buffet breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the Singapore Institute of Management or a local Singapore school for some interaction with local students. This will offer you a first-hand learning of what studying in Singapore is really like. We also hope that this early exposure to the numerous available opportunities will help you make an informed decision of considering Singapore as a destination for your higher education.
We will then visit the biological wonder - The Marina Barrage.
This is a 350-meter wide dam built across the Marina Channel to keep out seawater. It is the islands largest and most urbanized freshwater catchment area. Learn from experts the entire process behind collecting the freshwater along with interesting facts about how the dam is crucial to preventing floods in low-lying areas of Singapore as you view a demonstration of the scaled down replica.
After a hot lunch, you will visit the world’s latest engineering marvel – The Singapore Flyer!
At a stunning 165m, the flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel. As the wheel turns, you will experience a 360° feat of iconic and historical landmarks and views of Singapore. That’s not all; Flight engineers will explain in detail the aerodynamics, wind resistance and the mechanisms behind the working of this magnificent wheel.
Continue your voyage of discovery on Sentosa Island, you will visit the exhibitions gallery at Images of Singapore, experience the 4D Magix show and ride the Luge.
Visit the fabulous Underwater World, and be amazed by a skyline of aquatic creatures, in all forms and colors as our Eduguides empower and enrich your understanding of the deep blue oceans and see the friendly dolphins at the Dolphin Lagoon.
After dusk, watch the spectacular Song of the Seas where lights, lasers, fire effects, water jets and striking computer images projected on giant water screens come together to create a stunning visual feat.

Day 03: Singapore
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, you will proceed on a day’s visit to the spectacular Jurong Bird Park where over 9,000 colorful birds of 600 species are waiting to amaze you with their variety, shapes and sizes! Find out what’s in store for you on this fun filled day as you meet with your mentor who will guide you throughout the day. Come up-close with our feathered friends with a hands-on bird keeping experience.
Visit the amazing Lorry Loft and take this is opportunity to feed the friendly bright colored lorries which perch on you without fear and see how the staff at the bird park interact with the birds as if they were human with the birds responding back as well.
After a hot lunch at the Songbird Terrace you will proceed behind the scenes in the forbidden recesses of the park to discover how abandoned birds are cared for or how birds of prey are trained, and all students irrespective of their age will see first hand the life of a vet at the Avian Hospital.
Here you will meet our birdie nanny who shares the challenges of raising and feeding the feathered little ones. Learn about egg incubation and watch how the birdie nanny feeds the little ones and showers tender loving care on the chicks.
Ever imagined feeding an eagle or a vulture? Touch, feed and experience an intimate encounter with natures most magnificent predators! Be enthralled and captivated by their lightening maneuvers as these well trained birds perform the most daring feats.
What happens when birds fall ill and how do vets nurse them back to health? Take a peek at the state-of-the-art avian hospital and find out how the birds are kept healthy. You may be able to catch a vet for a chat and try your hands at stethoscopes and get to view x-ray images of birds.
Continue your incredible discovery with a workshop on Bird Craft and an interesting class in Biology with a workshop on Adaptations. Try your hand in building a nest while you learn about the structural adaptations that take place in the development of chick to bird.

Day 04: Singapore
After breakfast at your hotel we will proceed to the lush Singapore Botanic Gardens to see the largest collections of orchids in Singapore housed in a beautiful setting! A total of more than 700 species and 3,000 hybrids from tropical regions from around the globe are housed here. A trek through the rainforest will give you fascinating insights into the last remnant of a forest that used to cover the whole of Singapore. Learn of more than 300 plant species of which most are endangered, rare or vulnerable. You will hear stories and learn secrets about these giant trees and rare plants in the context of the fragile and unique rainforest ecosystem.
After lunch at a local restaurant you will visit the Newater Reclamation Plant.
Singapore conserves water like none other, by turning sewage water into the purest form of water! Learn about how the entire process works by water treatment experts who make this miracle possible.

Day 05: Singapore
After breakfast this morning you will visit Singapore’s famous Rainforest Zoo. This open-concept zoo with over 2,000 animals of 240 species gives you a glimpse into the lives of animals in their near natural habitat with a tram ride. Discover how butterflies, scorpions, stick insects and other invertebrates are bred and maintained. Get to know the creepy crawlies and hold a hissing cockroach, if you dare!
Later this afternoon meet up with your mentor and try your skill at pitching a tent for an overnight stay at the zoo.
Late this evening proceed on a Night Safari.
A rustle in the trees, shadows creeping in the dark and suddenly a leopard emerges and starts tearing apart a carcass. Sounds like a scene from a wildlife documentary? No, this is one of the surprises in store for you when you accompany our Eduguide on the leopard trail.
There’s more to come this evening as you view the Creatures of the Night show, with nonstop action with a star cast that includes Puma, Barn Owls, Pythons, Raccoons and more. Be amazed by the behavior and incredible abilities of animals from predatory to survival skills.
After a late dinner get ready to stay a night at the zoo. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to walk on the wild side and spend the night under the stars, in the company of the beasts.
Day 06: Singapore
Let the sounds of the jungle coming alive wake you this morning as you prepare for breakfast with one of the zoo’s most endearing primates.
It’s not everyday that you get to have breakfast with charismatic orangutans. Today you will learn more about them and can even hug them and take a photo with them all while savoring the sumptuous buffet breakfast.
Continue your rendezvous with the numerous animals at the open zoo as your Eduguide lets you experience hands-on the habitats, the diet and mannerisms of the zoo’s wonderful animals including the Baboons.
Get close to a spectacular troop of over 50 baboons in a stunning landscape of massive rocks; Get in-depth knowledge about these unique creatures and feed them while relishing the native Ethiopian lifestyle of rustic tribal villages, artifacts and coffee ceremony huts.
After a late lunch you will bid farewell to the many friends both human and animal you have made at the zoo and will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 07: Fly Singapore - India
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Later we drive to Singapore airport for our flight back home.
Return with a greater understanding of the flora & fauna which make our planet habitable and our lives complete and of happy memories spent learning with friends.
