Visit the home of the Renaissance, Learn of the splendors of Italian art & architecture and a rich history which spans millennia.

Day 01: Bombay – Rome

This evening you proceed on a drive by orientation tour of the city of Rome. You will then transfer to a local Indian restaurant for dinner and on to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 02: Rome

After breakfast this morning you will proceed on an educational and sightseeing tour of the eternal city of Rome. You will tour under the expert guidance of a local tour guide who will reveal to you the highlights of Italian art & architecture as you visit the Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine and the beautiful Trevi fountain.

Lunch this afternoon will be a sandwich or pizza on the go, giving you an opportunity to try out some of Italy’s splendid fast food options.

This afternoon you will continue your discovery of Rome by visiting the splendors of Vatican City, including the Vatican Museums, Michelangelo’s renowned frescoes at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica.

You will then transfer to your hotel after partaking of a hot Indian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 03: Rome – Assisi – Sienna - Pisa

After breakfast this morning you will check out of your hotel and proceed by road to the charming town of Assisi in the region of Umbria. Assisi is the birthplace of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and ecology. You will tour Assisi on foot and your local guide will reveal to you the splendors of the Piazza del Comune and the Piazzetta Garibaldi. The Rocca Maggiore and the grandest of the towns medieval attractions dominating the Via del Rocca and the Rocca Minore. You will also visit the 13th century Portico del Monte Frumentario building noted for its arches & architecture.

After lunch in a local fast food restaurant you will transfer by road on a scenic journey through Italy’s graceful low-lying hills to the medieval city of Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Our local expert will delight you on a walking tour of Siena’s narrow Gothic streets, magnificent palaces and historic Piazza del Campo.

You will then proceed by road to the Pisa where you will transfer to an Indian restaurant for dinner and then check in at your hotel for a good nights sleep.

Day 04: Pisa – Florence

After breakfast this morning you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Pisa on foot, you will visit the famous leaning tower and the circular Baptistery, the largest of its kind in Italy with a circumference of 104 meters. You will also visit the Orto Botanico di Pisa, the oldest botanical gardens in Europe with an enormous collection of mature specimens from all over the world.

Lunch will consist of Pizza at a local restaurant.

Late this afternoon you will continue to the spectacular capital of Tuscany, Florence for a hot dinner at an Indian restaurant after which you check in to your hotel for a good nights sleep.

Day 05: Florence

After breakfast this morning you will begin your in-depth exploration of the great city of Florence! A cultural treasure trove, Florence is filled with artistic and architectural gems. A local expert provides a leisurely-paced walking tour featuring the Piazza Del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Baptistry. You also view the Palazzo Vecchio and the Church of Santa Croce, burial place of Michelangelo and Galileo.

Lunch will consist of a sandwich or a slice of pizza or other local fast food.

You will then, discover the evolution of Italian art at one of the finest art collections in the world during a guided visit to the stunning Uffizi Museum, featuring works by Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Tintoretto.

Dinner will consist of a hot meal at a local Indian restaurant.

Day 06: Florence – Venice

After breakfast this morning, you will check out of your hotel and will transfer by road past the lagoons and rice-growing fields along the Po River to Venice. This enchanting city was built on 117 tiny islands and is characterized by a latticework of 150 canals and 400 bridges.

Lunch will be consisting of local fast food at an Autogrill en-route.

This evening you will visit charming St. Mark’s Square, the lively hub of the city's activity and events. A local expert will guide you on a walking tour of the area featuring St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Clock Tower with its famous Moors culminating with a gondola ride on one of Venice’s famous canals.

After a hot dinner at a local Indian restaurant you will be transferred to your hotel for a good nights rest.

Day 07: Venice – Mumbai

After breakfast this morning you your day begins with a boat trip* (weather permitting) to Murano Island for an up-close glass making demonstration.

Late this morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. Depart Venice on Emirates flight EK 136 for Dubai departing Venice at 15:45 hrs. You will arrive in Dubai at 23:35 hrs and will remain in transit at Dubai Airport.
