This program combines the best of Malaysia with Singapore providing students with a perfect opportunity to experience two very similar and as yet different cultures.
On arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you will clear through immigrations and customs and will proceed by coach to Putrajaya, with a short stop for breakfast en-route. Putrajaya is the administrative capital of Malaysia and is hope to some splendid Islamic architecture. Later this afternoon we continue to Genting Highlands with a short visit to Batu caves and the Geneva Watch Factory en-route. You ride the Skyway Cable Car ride to the top of Genting Highlands. On arrival, we check –in at your hotel and proceed on a guided walk through various activities and attractions of Genting.
After breakfast the morning is at leisure to avail of the many attractions in Genting, try the mesmerizing rides at the outdoor theme Park. Early this evening we proceed to Kuala Lumpur- Malaysia’s biggest city. En-route we have dinner and then proceed to our hotel for a good nights rest.
After breakfast this morning we proceed on a mornings sightseeing tour of the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, See the 88 storey Petronas Twin Towers, Lake Gardens with National Monument, National Mosque & Merdeka Square, Visit the ‘Menara Kuala Lumpur' popularly known as 'KL Tower', majestically poised at a breathtaking height of 421 meters.
This afternoon you visit one of the largest universities in Malaysia the IIUM. Its students originate in more than 90 countries representing nearly all regions of the world. Visit Rimba Ilmu (Forest of knowledge) an on-campus 80 hectare tropical botanical garden with live collections of over 1600 Malaysian & Indonesian species and attend an Environment Education workshop conducted by a trained Nature Education Officer.
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and proceed on a FRIM [Forest Research Institute Malaysia] Tour [With jungle trekking / canopy walk] & eco tourism guided briefing. The 74-year-old Forest Research Institute of Malaysia in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur is undoubtedly one of the leading institutions in tropical forestry research in the world. FRIM offers all walks of life a back-to-nature experience whilst enjoying the flora, fauna, landscapes and the remains of an old Orang Asli settlement. A waterfall and river cutting through this forest reserve adds serenity to this luxuriant landscape. FRIM is a truly an educational place for children and adults alike. Enjoy lunch amongst the natural habitat of this place.
Alternatively you will visit an Industrial Complex / Export Processing Unit on a Business orientation tour.
Late this evening after dinner you will be transferred to the railway station to board your train to Singapore.
Welcome to the Lion City
On arrival in Singapore, you will meet our local Mentor and will be transferred to a local restaurant for breakfast. You will later proceed on a sightseeing tour of the city. See the Esplanade, Merlion Park, Padang, the Parliament House and many more of Singapore’s unique sights.
After a hot lunch at a local restaurant, you will check in at your hotel with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Later this evening you will proceed to Singapore’s famous Night Safari for an exciting encounter with nature. Look a rhinoceros in the eye, hear the howls of a pack of stripped hyenas or watch giraffes glide serenely across the plain in the still of the night.
After dinner at an Indian restaurant you will be transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to Management Development Institute of Singapore (MIDS Campus). On arrival at the campus you will proceed on an overview and tour of the campus, followed by an address by a member of the Faculty / International Manager and a half day workshop on Asian Business Systems.
After lunch at a local restaurant you will visit the Asia Pacific Breweries to acquaint yourself on the Industry processes for Food & Beverages.
Early this evening we will make our way for an afternoon of fun and frolic at Sentosa Island. Visit the Images of Singapore Gallery, Experience awesome 4DMagix, Ride the exhilarating Luge and the Skyride. Visit the fabulous Underwater World, and be amazed by a skyline of aquatic creatures, in all forms and colors as our Eduguides empower and enrich your understanding of the deep blue oceans and see the friendly dolphins at the Dolphin Lagoon.
After dusk, watch the spectacular Song of the Seas where lights, lasers, fire effects, water jets and striking computer images projected on giant water screens come together to create a stunning visual feat. After dinner at a local restaurant on Sentosa Island you will be transferred back to your hotel.
After a buffet breakfast this morning you will check out of the hotel and will proceed to Jurong Bird Park to view a collection of some of the most amazing and colorful avian life on this planet.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will learn more about water conservation and preservation at The Newater Reclamation Plant. Singapore conserves water like none other, by turning sewage water into the purest form of water! Learn about how the entire process works by water treatment experts who make this miracle possible. We will then visit the biological wonder – The Marina Barrage. Later this evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
