Day 01: Fly India – Frankfurt

On arrival in Frankfurt you will proceed on an orientation and sightseeing tour of the city en-route to your hotel.

The evening is at leisure to relax from the flight and acclimatize to your surroundings.

Day 02: Frankfurt

After breakfast this morning you will visit the European Central Bank. This visit consists of a presentation on the duties and organisation of the European Central Bank. The group will also be able to have a tour round the bank.

After Lunch you will visit the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The visit begins with an audio-visual presentation explaining how the Stock Exchange works. Following the video, the group can see the stock exchange itself from the spectator’s gallery. There are phones in different languages, explaining the different areas of activity.

Day 03: Frankfurt

After breakfast you will Visit the John Deere Werke Mannheim. In 1837, John Deere founded the company that would come to bear his name. Incorporated as Deere & Company in 1868, it has grown from a one-man blacksmith shop into a worldwide corporation that today does business in more than 160 countries and employs approximately 43,000 people worldwide.

After Lunch you will visit the Asbach Brandy Distillery. A tour at the Asbach distillery, the birthplace of German brandy, begins with a audio-visual show, which explains the history of the company and the distillation process. The group will then be taken into the plant to see the distillation process taking place. At the end of the tour the students will be able to taste the German brandy drink.

Day 04: Frankfurt – Cologne

After breakfast this morning you check out of the hotel and will be transferred to the railway station in time to board your train to Cologne.

On arrival in Cologne you will be transferred to your place of residence where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 05: Cologne

After breakfast you will visit the Ford Werke. The guided tour shows the entire production and final assembly processes of a vehicle.

Later this afternoon you will visit the airport. The Cologne Bonn Airport is the largest low-cost hub in Continental Europe and is the fourth largest airport in Germany. Over 10.5 million passengers took off from here to more than 130 destinations in 2007. In 2008 the figure will exceed 10.7 million. Koln Bonn Airport has an extensive visitor programme including films and visits to individual departments.

Day 06: Cologne

After breakfast this morning you will visit RheinEnergie AG. RheinEnergie are responsible for providing about 2.5 million people, industry, business and service enterprises with energy and water. Tours of two waterworks (Severin and Weiler) with explanations of the origin, procurement and treatment of Cologne's tap water.

After lunch you will visit Cologne’s arena. Koln’s LANXESS Arena claims to be one of Europe’s largest arenas, with a capacity of 19000 people. Share the stage of the Stars, visit the backstage dressing room and the artists' areas and take a look at the exclusive VIP boxes. During the guided tour learn fun facts about the Kölnarena, its diverse events and its history.

Day 07: Cologne – Berlin

After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to the railway station in time to board your train to Berlin.

On arrival in Berlin you will be transferred to your hostel with the remainder of the day at leisure. Late this evening you will visit the Reichstag Dome for a panoramic view of the city.

Day 08: Berlin

After breakfast this morning you will visit the Axel Springer Publishing House. The visit is to the brand new state of the art printing press in the Berlin suburb of Spandau where the company publishes newspapers such as Berliner Morgen Presse and BZ. The visit includes a tour round the printing plant and a discussion with one of the staff there.

After lunch visit the Berlin Stock Exchange. The Berlin Bremen Stock Exchange sets standards in trading funds. Since 20th May 2003 the most important and largest funds companies are traded in Berlin.

Day 09: Berlin

After breakfast this morning you will visit the BMW Motorbikes factory. The production areas that can be visited vary depending on the internal production requirements.

After lunch visit the KPM Porcelain Manufacturers. See how the worldwide known table services, gifts and accessories from the initial design idea to the finished work of art come into existence. Groups get to see the whole manufacturing process from moulding, slip casting, turning to the cutting out of baskets and the glazing up to the flower and pattern painting.

Day 10: Berlin

After breakfast the remainder of the day is at leisure to go sightseeing or shopping or pursue your own individual interests. Overnight The Generator Berlin or similar

Day 11: Berlin – Munich

After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to the railway station in time for your train to Munich.

On arrival in Munich you will proceed to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: Munich

After breakfast you will Visit the BMW Factory. Visit the home plant of the BMW Group and experience live and in detail how cars are created. Experience how parts are produced from heavy coils of steel, how they are assembled into a car body and painted. See how an engine is created. Follow a car on its way to completion through various quality tests.

Visit the Munich Aiport Visitors Park. The full airport bus tour takes you all over the airport property. Additional tours for example the airport fire department, or the airport buildings, including Terminals 1 and 2 are available, or you can take a tour of Terminal 2 and enjoy a direct view from the observation deck.

Day 13: Munich

After breakfast this morning you will visit the Siemens Forum Museum. The Siemens Forum, which was founded in 1916, is the oldest company museum in Germany. The multimedia show in the basement gives visitors an initial impression and sets the tone. Against the background of the company’s foundation, its employees and development, the exhibition shows Siemens’ milestones, the innovative highlights.

Later this afternoon you will visit Dachau Concentration Camp. The memorial site was erected on the grounds of the Dachau concentration camp. On March 21 1933, Heinrich Himmler ordered that a concentration camp be erected at Dachau, the first concentration camp to be built in Germany. The first commandant, Theodor Eicke, developed an organizational plan which was later to become valid for all concentration camps. He established the Dachau camp as the murder school for the SS. On April 29, 1945, units from the US Army liberated the camp. In all, 200,000 prisoners from 34 countries were held captive in Dachau.

Day 14: Munich

After breakfast you will have the remainder of the day at leisure to go shopping or indulge in your own personal activities.

Day 15: Fly Munich - India

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
